Master in Marketing and Transformative Economy expands its international network via a structured exchange agreement with Imperial College Business School (London, UK).

Boasting an impressive international diversity on campus and among staff, Imperial College London is a global leader in science, technology and business that is consistently ranked among the world's top higher education institutions. As part of Imperial College London, Imperial College Business School offers world-class undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programs in Management and Finance following the mission of inspiring brilliant minds to be the world’s future leaders of business and society.

As part of its international efforts, IMCA’s Master is Marketing and Transformative Economy has now expanded its structured exchange offering to include a partnership with Imperial College Business School. Structured exchanges are “pre-arranged” exchange programmes, where the students follow a study plan pre-approved by both home and host Universities, saving the students’ time and efforts in dealing with the overlaps or conflicts between the courses. Structured exchanges are established with only a small number of renowned universities and provide students a chance to undertake high-quality specialisations in close affinity and complementarity with their study programme in USI.

Anita Carrara and Timo Luca Zollino, second-year Master’s students who had a chance to go to Imperial in July 2023, refer to their experience as intensive and challenging, but also practical and enjoyable. For Anita, the professional expertise of the lecturer and guest-speakers combined with working alongside a diverse group of students from all over the world added a "unique experience that has enriched her academic, personal, and professional perspectives". For Timo, the taken course “turned out to be much more interesting and insightful than anticipated” with an added bonus that outside of the lectures he had plenty of time to explore the “magical city of London" and make some good friends along the way.

Thanks to the structured agreement between USI and Imperial College Business School, three students from Master in Marketing and Transformative Economy per year can follow MSc Management Summer Electives in London.
